Design for Form and Surface

You've mastered the basics of wheelthrowing, now it's time to put thought before making. This class will focus on the design and execution of forms, with attention to surface decoration and glazing in the planning process. Students will gather source material to inform the pieces the want to make. Demonstrations of various surface techniques and assigned projects will help to develop new ideas.
