Salt Firing Workshop

David salting the kiln Experience another firing option for your work. David Orser will lead this workshop at his studio, Cedar Mountain Pottery, in Parsonsfield, Maine. Upon registration, participants will get materials and instructions for making pots for the firing. At the weekend workshop we will glaze and load our work and help with firing and salting the kiln. There will be a scheduled meeting after the firing to critique the results.

Tuition: $250.00, includes materials and firings, instruction at meetings and weekend, and Sunday lunch. Tuition fee does not include transportation to/from Maine, or accommodations for Saturday evening. Participants should bring food/beverages for a potluck dinner Saturday evening. Lodging suggestions will be available to participants.
