Getting started with Candle Making

David Danzilio started making candles as a cute way to spice up some less-than-stunning tumblers, and now they’ve become one of his favorite things to make. Everybody loves a scented candle, and at the end of it, you get a handmade pot! These are perfect little gifts and can be cranked out relatively quickly (read: cheaply) if you know what you’re doing.

This workshop is a gentle introduction to candle making; you should leave knowing how to get started and what the major “gotchas” are. David’s goal here is to help you avoid the mistakes he made early on in his candle making journey.

This workshop is for Mudflat students registered in the Winter semester.
